Today my boyfriend, Aleks, and I went to a small local pet-store that a rescue center was hosting an event at. Of course it was an American Pitt Bull or any type of Bully breed rescue called Muttley Crue. The cool thing about this rescue is that its like a big family, they try to keep their dogs in foster homes so they aren't in a kennel. The nice thing about this is the animal isn't cooped up in a small cage all day, they get training and used to being around people and other animals. As I sat on the floor petting Pippa, one of the dogs for adoption, questions just flowed out of me. I wanted to know so much about this rescue, with the more I found out, the more I wanted to help. There is an event coming up in March that I'm hoping to go help out with.
Now lets talk about puppies! Pippa wasn't a dog we were planning on looking at but i truly fell in love with her. She is 9 months, sadly Aleks and I wanted more of a puppy, so we could have the experience of puppy breath and training, but I'm still hoping for the Pippa girl. There is one other girl we are planning a meet and greet with and her name is.... Roo! She is a big cutie and Roo is only about 4 months, sooo that means we get a little bit more of the puppy days. In the end though Aleks' dog, Buddy, has final say in the dog we pick. If he doesn't like the pup we pick then we gotta pick a new pup! Haha I'm starting to think adopting a new dog might take a lot longer then I originally thought.
But even if Aleks and I don't get a pup soon, just going to help at events will be fun and exciting!

This is the adorable Roo!                    This is hopefully my future baby
Pippa! She is just so Cute!
